Hi everyone

I'm a April 2011 bride and strongly thinking about getting married at the El Cid but like you it seems there is not too much information or pictures out there of weddings. SBOONE, how is it going to work for your group with the wedding package, everything in there is for 10 guests..do they charge you more for having over 10 ? We are going to be a group of about 20-30.

Thanks and you must be so glad your day is coming up pretty soon ...can't wait for mine :)

For each extra guest, after 10 guests, they charge $80

We are in full swing planning right now, because our wedding is Nov 5th. We're about to send out the invitations and we already have 35 people booked, so it's moving right along. We haven't decided about the photographer yet. What did you think? Did you see any of the pictures? She send me some examples. They look good, not great. I have reached out to a couple of photographers in the area and I haven't heard much back from anyone. (I'm guessing that means they are booked?) We waited a while to get on the photographer thing, so we might not have any other options. I wish there were more brides, including some that have already had weddings, so we could ask them questions about food, decorations, events, etc. I really like Eva!! I also have the world's best travel agent (if you don't already have one). She has been AMAZING!! Plus she has been working with Eva a bunch and has gotten us really great deals! Where are you in planning? Have you thought of where you will have the reception? How you will decorate?? I would love to hear!
you're luck with the travel agent, I'm in the process of looking for a new one, because mine isn't that great (((

Hi there, I will be getting married at the El Cid in January 2011.  I'm very excited!! It looks like a great resort and Eva has been great!  We are still in the process right now of deciding if we want a legal or symbolic wedding.  We are leaning more towards symbolic, just because the blood work and the cost of it.

I am also getting married at El Cid in January 2011.  Eva has been great answering all of our questions.  DeWalt 33 when is your wedding date?

What is the difference in cost?

What is the cost difference between the two ceremonies?

Thanks,

Hello, I was just thinking of the cost of the blood work that needs to be done.  They let us know that it would be 230.00 per couple and then I'm not sure if there is a cost to translate your papers or not.  We also will be charged 50.00 when we get back to Canada to have the marriage certificate translated to english.  Other then that I think everything else is the same between the ceremonies.
