New Wedding Coordinator ar ROR!

Recommended Posts

Hi hiccups, that was my concern as well.

When i finally received an email from the new WC (a month or so after my inital email) she said that all confirmations are done at the pre-Wedding meeting and that none would be given until then.  The only thing that is confirmed is our Wedding location and time, which was confirmed by Sales.  I've forwarded Sales and the WC my email from Chandlynn with the written confirmation but, she they keep saying they doesn't know any arrangements Chandlynn made, and every will be confirmed at the meeting.

I'm not happy about this at all...

That's so exciting! Congrats!!!

Did you have to get a marriage license from your local government office? Is your marriage legal in Canada? Did you have to supply any additional documentation aside from the birth certificate (with both parents names), and identification indicated in the FAQ section of the weddingsbyriu website?

I'm finding a lot of answers very vague on this topic and want to make sure! after all, it's pretty important msnwink.gif

After SO MUCH back and forth with ROR, we got a call from Antonette saying she will honour the Poolside reception that Chandlyn had confirmed with me.  I feel so much better!  Now we won't have to worry about the other Wedding possibly wanting to book the same location, which was my only concern.

Yay :)

Oh no! so you cant confirm the beach or the pool until a day before you get there? when chandlyn was the wc she told me about a beach barbeque that i could have for our reception.. I chose not to go to another resort because you couldnt chose the location until you arrived there. My FI and I are getting Married July 2012 but are trying to narrow down the resorts, I thought it was this one but now i am not so sure!!! ugh!! does anyone know which is better using a travel agent or the internet to book reservations for the rooms and flights ?

CONGRATULATIONS! Its only fair that they give you the poolside reception since it was already confirmed.

Thanks!

Because we received a license from Jamaica, we didn't have to get documentation.  It is written in English and recognized in Canada (I know for non-English speaking countries, it has to be translated and notarized before it is recognized).  We just had to bring our long-form birth certificate (we mailed notarized copies and then brought notarized copies with us - DO NOT bring your original because they'll keep it).  If you have been divorced, you also need to bring proof of divorce.

good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
