Psuelisa,

I still have not figured out where we will be staying while on PV but the two I have been leaning towards are The Vallarta Palace and Dreams.  As far as photographers go, I am thinking about just going with one that Kelley has in mind and not dealing with finding my own. I know it sounds lazy but I'm sure everything will be just fine.  Have you done much research on any photographers because if I do find one I like, I might just change my mind. Anyways, congrats on your date and everything!

OK, so my FI and I have been back for about a week and we miss it already! We were going to go see Dreams Villamagna and Vallarta Palace, but we got to dreams and liked it so much that we didn't want to see anything else. We heard from the staff that the "Older tower" is being renovated and the rooms will be done by June. That combined with the price did it for us.

Our visit to Caletas with Kelly was fantastic! It really is so beautiful! After talking to her, I think we are just going to go with their photographer as well. Kelly made the point that it's easier for that photographer to position himself better because he knows the beach and the area.

Hope everyone's planning is going well!

Hi Nicole

welcome to the forum be sure to read through the main las caletas thread:

http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/51931/las-caletas-couples-post-here-all-lc-brides-please-read-1st-post-red-text

I think a lot of your questions will be answered there. You are not crazy to be planning a 2011 wedding. I think there are several LC brides who planned their wedding start to finish in less than 6 months. So many of the details are taken care of and handled by LC that you really don't have much to do.

good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
