Was wondering if there was still time to add some questions.
I've noticed lots of brides are taking down the table linens for the wedding. I was just planning on "renting" theirs.
You would have to check with them to make sure they have the exact color you want (if you are picky). That's probably why some people bring their own. Brining overlays wouldn't be too bad, the material is very light and they are much smaller than tablecloths. And if you bring your own stuff, DT doesn't usually charge you to set it up (although it might cost you more to buy the linens than just rent the DT stuff).

Sunbride, do you remember how much they were? And do they give you samples when you meet them the days before your wedding? I'm not terribly picky but I would like nice ones. It would be easier for me to pick one from their selection I just want to make sure they have a good variety of options.

thanks.

I didn't use the table linens so I can't help you, sorry! But I did want to use their chairbows and they didn't have turquoise, luckily I had happened to bring a role of small turquoise tulle for the gazebo and they just used it for the chairs instead. If I didn't have that I would ahve been disappointed about the bows.

Neen - Could you get a list of what colors are available for both chair bows and table linens? This question has come up before a few times so I think this would be really helpful. If ever you were able to see them and take pictures that would be AWESOME but if not I'm sure future ladies would really appreciate a list of colors.

Hey Ladies, Someone mentioned a while back that Landy keeps a separate spreadsheet for each of our weddings. Does anyone have a copy of one of these? It seems like it would be easier for both the bride and the WC if we could both be working in the same format. Right now I'm just keeping a punch list of things that I want but I would love to work off one of her speadsheet templates. It just seems like it would remove the margin for error and give me more of an idea of what's available.

For instance, there is nothing in the wedding guide about bonfires or renting lounge furniture. I'm interested in both of these but would not have known it was even an available option if it weren't for this site. Just a thought

I don't think things like bonfires or lounge furniture would be on their spreadsheet anyways, since they are not things that are normally done. I don't have a copy of the spreadsheet, but I did see Landy filling mine out during the meeting. It's just a one page document and she will go over each element (ceremony location, reception location, flowers, music, cake, etc) with you during your meeting when you arrive at the resort.

I ordered mine from idearibbon.com. I ordered the 6" wide spool for like 3$. One spool was enough for 10 chair ribbons (although really, the ends of the ribbon were super long, they could have cut them shorter and made maybe like 12-15 chair bows).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
