Oh, and I should note that we are having a legal ceremony and still no problem with being there less than 4 business days.

Hello Everyone! I thought that I would say hello to everyone who is also getting married at Dreams Tulum? Is anyone else eloping or is everyone doing a full destination wedding? I am interested to hear your feedback especially with regards to photography and videography. I am also curious about the hairdressers.

Any feedback or tips you can give me would be great. Any new information I get from my travel agent or from Sandra I will let you know!

-Jenn

Cheers again,

You are very welcome. As far as decorating, I was thinking that too. All the rooms in the convention have, from what I think, pretty good lighting that you can point in different directions. For me, this is important in creating a nice ambiance. Other than that, I was planning on the centerpieces for the tables. I want to do more but I don't know what else and don't want to spend too much more money. The rooms are very nice and I think they don't need much to look good. Let me know if you think of anything good or find some nice pics for ideas.

eloping! That sounds fun and unstressfull. I may have to rethinkg what I'm doing here wink.gif Congrats and welcome!

Have you tried reading this whole entire thread from the beginning? Or at least from Nov or Dec on. There has been a lot of talk about photography and videography that would be helpful for you. Sunbride talks about the hairdresser at the hotel in her review. You can see it here http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t18711

Good luck and happy planning.

Wow, I find this really surprising, I have never heard of anyone else being able to have a legal ceremony within only 2 business days (monday and tuesday). You are really lucky they are letting you do this!

I just confirmed my wedding for Feb 18, 2009, and need to take a stab at the package options. I'm wondering how customizable they are...is Sandra flexible about adding/removing items from a package?

Sunbride, didnt you say they were pretty flexible? Not like reducing the cost but at least adding for something when not utilizing something?

They are definitely more flexible than other resorts. For example, if you're not using the resort photog in the package you can ask to extend the videographer services.

Sandra is great. She may be busy but she will alway listen to you and try her best to work with you.
