Can anyone recommend an affordable photographer with photo journalist style?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a great photographer with affordable packages in Mayan Riviera area. If any past brides could recommend one they have worked with recently, I'd really appreciate it! We'd like some one with a photo journalist style and attention to details. Preferably a package price for 4-5 hours or more if prices are reasonable. Thanks!

Don't forget to check out the vendor market place too. There are lots of photographers on there who have samples of work and some list packages as well. You might also find either there or in another bride's siggy a photographer share, where a photographer is flying in around your date and will work a package with little or no travel fees.

We used Michelle Kauntz from Captured Soul Photography in Kitchener. We brought her with us but found that her prices for the whole week were comparible to the local photographers for 5 hours!

Here is her website. I loved Michelle`s work and would highly recommend her!

i just got married 3 weeks ago and flew in my photographer but he was still cheaper then had I gotten someone in Mexico.  He has a photo journalist feel and was very very cool and AFFORABLE. i mean almost a steal for me.

if you want email me Julie.sanchez@gmail.com

and I'll send you a handful of my pictures that i have, he not only charged me great price but took pictures for the rehearsal dinner, the wedding from the moment we got ready and trashed the dress the next day.

I truly liked him and would work with him again for future pictures, maybe kids or something.

much cheaper then any photopher I found anywhere else.

thinking on affordable, we all got to check apple vs apple, so affordable in photography is complicated, a lot of photographer are more marketing than what they do and offer, one advice is to do a bidding tabulator with the pros and cons of each of the photographers you found, be careful!!! affordable may mean leave your photography in the hands of no one, photography it is not only what you see, most of it is what you don't see!,  good luck on your search!

If you love the Del Sol style, but would prefer a more economical choice. Matt, Owner of Del Sol apparently started another company under the Del Sol umbrella called La Luna.

Their website is located HERE -> http://www.lalunaphotographers.com/

You should take a look; I believe some of the pictures posted on the website are of Best Destination Wedding Brides. I believe La Luna starts around $400/p.h.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
