I would love to hear how the couples who just went on their own got on. My fiance & I have just confirmed our date this week for May 2013 just for the 2 of us. We are super excited & thankfully have very understanding & supportive families. Although my little sister keeps getting a dig in, but at the end of the day, it is our special day & it is our dream. We dont want to be stressing about anyone else leading up to our day & we will celebrate with them when we get home :)

Hola Susannah! I just had a very hearfelt and intimate vow renewal with a couple from the USA, we drove to this beautiful almost deserted beach (just a couple of blocks from were I live), they said their vows while I shot pictures, and we had portraits afterwards, we even went into the water a little bit! It was just magical, intimate and hassle-free. Here are a couple of pictures, I just started working on those, hope it helps!

Thank you so much for replying to me :) Have actually been looking through your many amazing photos over the last few weeks since we decided on Mexico! I'm very passionate about photography myself. Thank you for sharing these photos too. I love how you captured the emotions! Beautiful :) Would love to see more of them when you are done processing them. I know, it takes time!!

I believe we have made the right decision for us. We are quite private people anyway & the 'Big Day' at home in Ireland just isn't for us. Your description of this couples day sounds just perfect :) Magical, intimate & hassle free :)

Just the Two of Us weddings are some of the most romantic weddings that we plan - they are ultimately personal and private and it's a major moment that the two of you will always remember!  If you're worried about parents or family being upset that they missed it, consider hiring a videographer.  Many hotel wedding packages include videography, and if not, you can always request their pricing a la carte as an add on to your wedding details!  Good luck and congratulations!

WOW, your photos look amazing!! Such a beautiful place, such vibrant colours, it looks like your special day was magical.

 

We have already booked our ceremony in Now Jade on the beach. We just love the idea of getting married on the beach in our bare feet. Mark proposed to me on a beach on holidays this year. The beach will be very different to anything we could have at home here in Ireland.

We got married just my husband and I  with one of our best friends and his finace..we have been together 10 years and now with a daughter so to us marriage was just a piece of paper. I got married in flip flops and a sun dress it was the most amazing day of my life! In the end when your saying your vows to eachother its like no one is there anyway just the two of you! My family had a fit they were not involved in our day so we are having a small cruise wedding. But in the end you have to do what makes you happy and It was actually really nice we were on a vacation for a week when we got married and just the time alone, no one could ever take that time away.

Ah sounds perfect :) thanks for sharing!! We're delighted with our decision. My little sis got married last weekend and it was a brilliant day and I was afraid that we would regret our decision, but as much as I enjoyed the day, there was a lot involved and it was a bit stressful. I can't wait until our intimate wedding and also look forward to our celebration when we come home.. And CONGRATS!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
