I just explained to her that FI and I had decided we were going to pay for everything ourselves and although I appreciate the gesture, we wanted to do this our way.... took quite a bit of convincing, and now she's claiming to add the sum to our wedding present... very sweet but unnecessary lol

Which is your favourite style? Cool, sweety, lovely, or concise? On the website www.fromonesite.com, you can choose whatever you like.

My mom wanted to pay for my dress but I didn't let her because I know that she is kind of tight on money right now.

i paid for both of my dresses and my honey and i will pay for the wedding ourselves...its a second wedding for the both of us..so it only seems fair that we come out of our pockets since our families paid for our respective big days (to other ppl) years ago...plus, i get to pick and choose what i want..and not worry so much about whose paying for what and allowing them to have a say...

My mom paid for my ceremony dress (the expensive one) and I paid for my reception dress. Since I am getting married in a church I wanted something more traditional but the thought of wearing that dress during the dancing, etc. Too hot! My parents and FI's are paying for about 80% of the wedding. I just got out of school and FI just got a job. I really appreciate all that they are doing for us.

              Married! May 13 2012!
