Bridesmaids gifts

Recommended Posts

I have less than two months till my wedding and I need ideas of what to get my bridesmaids for gifts. I want to do something really nice for them because they are spending so much money to come out for the wedding. I have about a $200 limit on each girl(I have 3). At first I was thinking a $200 gift card to coach or D&B so they could pick out their own purses or even to Victoria Secret but the more I thought about it, a gift card is not personal enough. I thought about getting them a necklace from Tiffany's but my matron of honor did that for us at her wedding so I can't really do that either. I'd feel like I was copying... Does anyone have any other ideas of good jewelry brand names(like tifanys) that I could get something at or even have any other very good ideas for gifts?

Thanks.... Lisa

Here are some ideas... I plan on getting my BMs: monogrammed beach tote, photobook of pics of us through the years and a gift certificate to the spa at the resort. Also, I'm thinking of a key chain from Coach, they had flip flop ones, but they're not available anymore, so I have to look on ebay.

I bought my 7 BMs and flower girl cute beach totes from Target:

Target : Merona Large Straw Tote - Pink/ Yellow

Inside they will get, a "bridesmaid" tank top that I designed on Customized Girl CustomizedGirl - Custom T-Shirt Design, along with a "beach" themed photo album (picked them up at Kohl's for BOGO Free), and a starfish bracelet, like this one I found on ebay:

starfish T-O, 925 Sterling Silver Bracelet 193 - (item 250151419087 end time Aug-07-07 21:00:49 PDT)

I think I'm also going to add a pair of flip-flops and maybe a fun swimsuit cover-up.

I got my girls diamond stud earring to wear for the wedding and i'm also giving them beach bags. My mom was in Hawaii and picked up some really cute sarongs and Hawaiian beach bags. My aunt owns a day spa so she gave me lotions, nail polish, and a few other things. I will also put in some flip flops and a toe ring. That's all for now but I might throw a few more things in before we go.

If you are going to spend the day getting ready together, i love the idea of plush spa robes, personalized with their names. everyone loves a really nice robe and they will use them all the time and think of what a great day you shared. you can get really nice ones online at bloomingdales for about $100 to $125 per robe and then spend a little extra other goodies!

If you have any outlet stores nearby, check there. I was just at the Coach outlet and they have the flip-flop key chains on clearance.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
