Wow, amazing! 1400 pictures? That is sweet. I love pictures, and I have been surfing the net for some example pictures that I want my photographer to try. your pictures are amazing. If you don't mind me asking, how much did your photographer charge you all together for the package? I am just curious?

@Fall: I had 2010 pricing so I would recommend that you contact Melissa directly. Her email is: melissa@melissamcclure.com. She is really prompt in her correspondence and would gladly give you a quote for your wedding. Let me know how it goes!!

I am so excited because I just booked Melissa for my wedding! After reading your review and seeing you pictures I contacted Melissa. She made me an offer I couldnt refuse! Those underwater shots sold me on her plus I love her style. She is a really sweet person. My fiance and I met with her this past weekend when she was in Chicago and we sealed the deal! Sweet! I was going to book a local photog but I realized you get more for your money when you bring your on photog down.

Yes, thanks to your post on this site I found my wedding photographer!  She is a very sweet person. We really enjoyed hanging out with her that evening.  I am also her friend on facebook. So I will be stalking her page with you.  The irony of the situation is, she is really good friends with the photographer who took our engagement photos.  What a small world huh?

VERY small world. We just found out that she went to school with one of my friend's (who made my cake table runner) husband. CRAZY small world!!

You are getting married in Jamaica, right?! And you're doing a TTD too?! Oooooh, how exciting. I wish I could relive our wedding in Maui EVERY DAY!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
