My cry for help- Someone just pick a place for me!!

Recommended Posts

FYI I just looked up rates on Expedia from Cleveland to Playa del Carmen at The Royal for 3 nights and it says $912/person. Not bad! I was thinking it'd be a few hundred higher... Keep in mind tho that this is for Nov. of '07 so the rates will go up for next year but that gives you some sort of ballpark figure to work with...

I would also love to go back! I don't think we'll do it for our honeymoon tho - just because we both really want to visit other places, especially Jamaica. But one day... *sigh* wink.gif

P.S. I agree, your new siggy is great!

No prob - if you have any more questions or need any more advice on picking a location, just ask! :)

I agree with the Azul recommendation, that would have been my first choice if I didn't have kids attending. It's the best of both worlds b/c it's all inclusive but small and intimate.

Look at Sol's photography blogs, type in Azul and you will see wedding photos from the resort.

I feel your pain! I feel like all I do is spend time on the internet researching locations! I really like Dreams Cancun, but i've only gotten one email from them and then its been over a week since I replied asking for more information and if they had evening times available on the two days left in June! Sooo...now I wonder if those dates in June are gone=(

And I thought a destination wedding would be less stressful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
