Preventing tan lines before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

I wore a strapless dress - I went tanning in advance and for the 2 days I was there in advance, I kept my straps down when I was in the sun with LOTS of sunblock.

I had no lines.

We fly in on either Sat or Sunday and our cermony isn't until Thursday so I know that no matter how much sunblock I use, I'm going to get some color before the ceremony...so I really need to find a strapless bathing suit or maybe a convertible one where you can remove the straps or move them to halter style, etc. Unfortunately this isn't easy when you're on the busty side (DD). Any other busty girls out there that can recommend a strapless bathing suit with enough support for the girls?

I´m planning on getting a spay tan before i go, then wearing a bandeau bikini, or if i can find somewhere deserted, whipping my top off occasionally. Got to be careful tho, we went to the beach yesterday, i hid behind a dune and went topless, and now i have two bright red triangles on my chest. classy lady!

As everyone else has said, just wear strapless tops and you cant go wrong. Wear them ALL the time though, cos that one time you stand chatting to someone out in the sun for that few mins i bet you will get the most hideous strap marks that you cant get rid of...and you'll be thinking but it wasnt even sunny!! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
