I think its a nice gesture if you can afford it, but if you can't, what about just putting $50 towards the dresses or whatever amount you're comfortable with.

my sister (MOH) bought her own dress (my parents are paying for her travel and other stuff - and the dress was $50); one of my BMs had the dress already, and i bought the dress for the third.
our GMs bought their own outfits.

As my three children will be my bridesmaids, I will be buying their dresses for them but not intending getting married until 2009 so plenty of time to save!

We have two on each side and will probably be paying for all of them. I feel its at least I can do as long as they dont pick out $400 dresses

I am paying for my MOH's dresses. I am going to try and find something on bluefly.com or Nordstroms there were some really cute BCBG dresses at Nordstroms online a couple months ago for like 70.00 each. NOT BAD

I love BCBG dresses! We have an outlet store here and I am always in there.. I even try them on all the time and I totally know I'm not going to be able to buy them hahaha

Our bridal party is only 2 people, and we will be paying for their cloths. They are really having to budget in order to make the trip, so I don't want to add extra expenses. I will probably pay for dresses for all my nieces too and something cute for my nephew.

Well, most likely if everything goes well I will be paying for my BM's dresses and we are definitely paying for the GM's attire. The guys attire is so much affordable.

Well since our children were our wedding party we of course paid for all. All clothes, shoe's, travel expences, souvenire's, activities, etc, lol. Oh the honeymoon we could have had....
