Hi, everyone!

 

I'm Jess. I currently live in Florida, and my fiance is in Ohio (military...ugh!). We've been engaged for about two years, and it's finally time to start planning this thing.

 

We've narrowed it down to a Fall 2011 wedding, and we're leaning heavily toward a small Caribbean DW/HM. Hopefully, this forum will help us nail down the specifics. I had NO idea there would be so many decisions to make!!

 

Looking forward to "meeting" everybody!!

Hey Jess, congrats and welcome to the forum. I totally understand how you feel. I am in NJ and Fi is in TX (but in my case thank God for the military, I get to see him once a month when he comes home for his monthly drill). This website definitely has a lot of info and a lot of great people to help you along. So don't be overwhelmed, you've already taken the best first step you could have taken i.e., joining this forum. Hi Jess congrats and welcome to the forum. Picking your actual destination/venue is one of the harder decisions you'll make but luckily with brides from everyone on this forum you'll have lots of help in narrowing down your choices and then the fun stuff begins and there are so many tips and tricks you can learn from here. Take a breath, then dive right in....happy planning!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
