BIG case of cold feet, and perfectly normal!! I know of couples who bickered right up to the day of, and once it was all over and done with, sat back and laughed at how overly-sensitive they were about the other. You've already made the biggest decision in life, and that was having two children with your FI. Because of your children, you will be a part of each other's lives forever, so you see, you're stuck with him already (lol) and therefore there isn't much more to be afraid of now is there? smile41.gif

I think this is completely normal. Afew months ago I had the same feeling. All of a sudden it became VERY real. We've been together for 4.5 years, lived together for 4 years and I love him to death...BUT the idea that there was no turning back..this was the guy I was going to be with for the rest of my life, and the man I wanted to be the father of my children...and it made me want to run. I felt the need to all of a sudden go back to my college girl days, and I wanted to party and drink and live carefree with all my girlfriends. But I have now gotten over it. I'm very EXCITED for the wedding, and am in complete planning mode..though freak out mode DID set me back abit!!

i'm so glad someone else said this!! <3! for a long while i was feeling like i didn't even want to get married at all ever to anyone let alone to my fiance who i've been with for over 10 years and engaged for over 2, lol!!

i have little freak out moments like everyone but i manage to bring myself back from freaksoutville, lol.

i think to not doubt or question such a serious commitment/step, wouldn't be normal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
