I don't know if its the fact that the date is getting closer...but a massive case of cold feet is setting in I've been with him for 7 years & we have 2 awesome children together, BUT everything he does is annoying the s**t out of me lately & i'm starting to question everything & feeling like i just want to run....

Anyone else going through something like this or am i just being a weirdo??

i'm not feeling like i want to run, but it is starting to scare me that i'm going to be his wife...FOREVER!!! it's so weird because i've wanted this for so long and now that its getting closer, i'm freaking out!! i'm sure it's completely normal and once that day comes and you see him at the end of the aisle, all the worries will fade. besides you've been together for 7 years and have children...don't really think things will be too different once it's official. and him getting on your nerves is probably because you're stressed about the wedding and busy with other things (work, kids, etc) and you feel like he's not helping with anything....can you tell this is exactly how i feel, lol!!!
don't worry, just come on here and vent anytime you need to, that's why we're here! :)

It's not weird at all. At least not to me. I've been feeling similarly. I Love him I do but he can irritate the crap out of me sometimes to the point where I wonder about us as a couple. I get over this but the last year or two has been a bit of a strain on our relationship largely due to external factors.

He's been the one pushing the wedding more so than I have, always has been. I would be happy if we were committed to each other and just living together.

Each time something major comes up with the wedding We set a date, invitations come in, ordering rings etc... I start to freak out a bit about the whole thing.

I think it's perfectly normal to be anxious or even irritated by your significant other. You just have to work with them to resolve the issues.

My fiancee knows how I feel and has been lovely about dealing with my freak out sessions. ;-)

I think you go through this phase even when married-- not the run part but the annoys the shit out of you part. LOL But yes, cold feet is pretty standard. Don't let those feelings get to you. Think about the positives- why you love him, what parts you DO love and isn't annoying, etc.

I also was getting cold feet. I started to realize this is FOREVER and actually began searching for reasons not to get married. I was scared of getting hurt in some way or making a big mistake even though I've been with him for over 2 years and he's been an absolutely amazing fiance to me. We had a long talk and afterwards I realized that my fears are normal and I know there is no other person I'd rather be with. Also, the annoying part will always be there, I'm sure I annoy the crap out of him too :)

I'm feeling the same way but I know it's because of a lot of external factors like I'm stressed at work, my father isn't well, etc. I know if we can weather this, our marriage will be very strong.

You have to keep in mind that the wedding planning is stressful, and that your tolerance for annoying little things isn't the same now that it normally would be! It does make things feel worse than it normally would. It's normal to be scared though, it's a big deal! Just focus on why you love him and it will all pass! Good luck and hang in there!

Yeah...running really isn't the best option considering the fact that i'd have two toddlers pinned underneath my arms..don't think i'd get very far lol...

A friend of mine is also getting married in September & told me she is experiencing the same thing. I guess its just nerves & stress from planning the wedding while still maintaining a life outside of planning.

BUT HE IS SO ANNOYING!!!! Seriously, I probably have my days too, but i can't be that bad lol Last night he told me he wants me to buy his groomsmen gifts , which is fine with me (we are getting them reef bottlecap flipflops) BUT the annoying part is that he only has 3 groomsmen & wants me to get 6 pairs of flip-flops...2 extra for his buddies that aren`t coming to the wedding...He says `they are kind of like a thank you for considering to come gift` WTF!!! When i said that wasn`t a wise thing to spend MY money on..he says `` well you think spending money on those maracas & mugs are a wise way of spending money`` Seriously...these are gifts & favors for guests attending the wedding...SEE ANNOYING!!!! but alittle laughable too...

very laughable... he can't be serious, they are not coming but they should get gifts? This is ur day, not a show off session... Reminds me of someone.... lol

I think it is normal part of getting married. You here of all kinds of stories that people go through especially right before the wedding. Hope things get better for you which I know they will.
