What is your age difference?

I'm 2 year and 2 months older than DH. I used to say that he wasn't of a respectable age, but now that he's 28 I really don't mind anymore. It seemed to matter a lot more when we first met! He's bald so he looks older, and I have the good genes :)

He's 1 year and 2 months older then me, he's 26 but I'm 24. I can barely pass for 18 and he's always bragging about how he caught a younger girl. In fact, the first time I meet his family and friends they pulled him aside to ask how old I was, they thought I was only 16 or 17... and I was 21. He'll appreciate my young-looking-ness when we're 50 tho!

I'm almost 7 years older....when we met, I had already been engaged twice, had a kid, and had been on my own since I was 18, and here he was, still in college and living at home. It used to freak me out a little bit, but now I'm used to it. Plus he's done a lot of growing up since we started dating.

There is 11 1/2 years between us. I am 27 and FI is 39. Everyone use to ask me why I would take on such a difference in age along with his "baggage" (ex wife and 2 kids).

You can't help who you fall for. I am more mature and he is def. young at heart.

Love this thread, it's wonderful to see such varieties!

Cheers ladies.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
