Any Alfred Angelo Brides out there?

Recommended Posts

I very much wanted to be an Alfred Angelo bride as I [LOVE] a lot of their dresses.  However, I kept calling all bridal salons listed as being an Alfred Angelo shop they were not or they only sold the BM dresses = /

I had to finally give up with a broken heart. However, it is awesome to see other girls who like Alfred Angelo dresses as well.  I'm completely jealous!

Thanks ladies. I too like the neckline on the second dress and the sash on the first. I'm feeling better about choosing 2034 after reading your reviews. I'm not changing for the reception and the dress needs to be one where I can "get down with my bad self," and I think 2034 is perfect for that. It's also a MAJOR plus that 2034 brought me in under budget. I think I'll just lower the neckline a bit. Otherwise, the dress needed absolutely NO alterations needed - also brings me under budget.

Pazzesca-I'm not sure where you live in NJ, but I went to the Alfred Angelo Signature Shop in Allentown, Pa. I live in central Nj and it only took me about an hour or so. My only warning is there a real B"*$@ that works there named Stephanie and do not get her. If she wants to help you ask for someone else. I had to make a complaint against her b/c she was so nasty to my family.

awww thanks dana!! i live in Bergen County, NJ in a town near Giants Stadium.  Unfortunately I bought a dress already at David's Bridal =/ I'm happy with it but I REALLY wanted to be an Alfred Angelo bride since I got engaged a few years back.

Thanks for the helpful tip about the Allentown store.  If there is a bride thinking of going there, she'll be in the know!!

Thats so funny, I tried on both of those dresses and almost picked that very same BM dress! I really liked 2117 and still do. I feel like its different and I LOVE the neckline. If youre going for a sexy look definitely go with 2117. If youre going for a more traditional, sublte look then 2034 is better. GL with your decision! :)

I fell in love with the neckline and the bottom of the dress.  I picked 2034 because I wanted to be able to "get down with my bad self" and 2117 wouldn't allow me to do that because it's so heavy.

I'm feeling a little better about choosing 2034 I just needed some reassurance that I picked the right one.

@ Mrs. Williams: I love the dress with the sash, I am jealous!! But they are both gorgeous, so go with whatever makes you feel the most amazing!

I just happened upon this thread so I will share my dress too!  It is Alfred Angelo 1148, I can't wait to try it on again in my size, the sample at the store was way too big, my dress comes in January!  Hopefully you can view my pic!  Also I have to say it was a great price too, bonus!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
