first off, congrats on your engagement!

I've been kind of looking into things for about 6 months, getting ideas and what not but it's hard to actually do anything because your not sure exactly where your going to be or how many people will come. Now we've just booked our date and blocked off some travel prices and now we're really starting to fly off the handles getting things done! lol...so i guess it's never to early to start looking but until you decide your major things theres not too much to do, i feel anyways.

I have been planning and dreaming since I was 8 years old! lol But I only officially started planning September and I get married in December. I tried to contact the coordinator back in July but she said she will be in contact 2 months before. So i just chilled a little. I am keeping everything pretty simple so not too much to do. I got bridesmaid dresses 3 weeks ago and my dress last week! I wouldn't recommend getting the dress so late though, I am having kittens right now waiting for it to be ready, plus the extra expense of rush order fees lol

My wedding is not until July 2012 and just like you I have already started the planning process. I tell myself that right now its all about gathering the ideas!(mainly from this forum) and then I figured 1 year before our actual date is when I will start to actually book everything but at least by the time I am ready to book I will have all of my ducks in a row and know exactly what I want!! So it's never to early you will just be very prepared!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
