I'm working on my invites now and could use some feedback.
    Here's what I have:

    Blank and Blank (parents)
Request the pleasure of your company
At the beachside marriage of their daughter
On Friday, the third of September
    Two thousand and ten
At five o'clock in the afternoon
Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa,
    Quintana Roo, Mexico
    Sunset reception to follow

Since I'm getting married in Puerto Aventuras, which is in the state Quintana Roo, which is in the Mayan Riviera (or would you say Riviera Maya?) region I'm not sure which to put for the location on the second to last line.
    Any suggestions?

I think it should say Riviera Maya, and see how it looks to you. If not keep what you have. Its fine.

I struggled with the same problem, and ended up putting Puerto Vallarta, Mexico instead of Jalisco, Mexico. It made more sense to my guests and that's all that really matters. So personally I would put Riveira Maya, Mexico. I like that you saidi sunset reception - it sounds so romantic.

I think I'll go with Maya Riviera. Thanks girls!
