I WISH you had told me that you did not like your new room or at least told mariana. she would have been disappointed to know that you were disappointed in your room.

I will let the hotel know about this problem. Unfortunately the receptionists have a hard time knowing who are VIP so your first line of defense is to let the wedding dept. know so they can assist you.

now, more pics please!!!
Tammy, don't you worry. After the move to a different room it was better, and we just didn't want to bug Mariana with it as she did so much! We were fine after the move -- just didn't care for the attitude from the receptionists!

Hi! Yes, feel confident! I was so nervous about choosing Dreams without having seen it, and hearing comments in both directions, but rest assured, you'll have a fantastic wedding.

We had our cocktail hour at El Patio and gosh, I can't even remember what I choose for food now honestly, but all my guests enjoyed it. For the reception with had the ravioli to start (which I would not recommend), the caprese salad (good), the sorbet with tequila (delish), the surf & turf (very good) and the chocolate mousse (very good).

We had the reception at Cascada Terrace.

Enjoy the planning!

I know that Dreams boots the wedding party from the outdoor area around 10:30p... did your group continue the festivities at the Disire Music Lounge til 2am, and did everyone feel like they had enough time to celebrate? I have a feeling our guests might want to party til 4am, lol.

Hey! Yeah, we went to Desire afterwards, and it was fun. I was so exhausted though! I think Kurt and I left around 12:30pm, and others continued the party until it closed! I think everyone felt like they had plenty of time to celebrate, because it ends up being a long day from start to finish. I suppose it depends on the group -- people can always continue in a hotel room!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
