I need help with planning my wedding in Mexico. I would love some suggestions and any insight of Secrets Silversands. There is not much info out there and we are about to book it. I will not be able to travel there before the wedding in March 2011 so any help would be great!!

We are getting married there in October. We visited the resort when it first opened and this will be our second time staying there. I loved it. We are getting married on the beach. The beach is nice, but nothing extravagant and over the top. Lizette is the wedding coordinator so if you go on to silversands website click in weddings and just email her. We have been planning all on email back and forth. Hopefully that helps.

what wedding plan are you doing, I have been in contact with Lizette as well and it just seems that the price is going to be much higher than I thought. Especially if it is over 20 people. Also, not many flowers and decor is inluced so I would love your help and opnions on some things because you have been there. Also, after you get married you will have to tell me how it went! I am nervous and excited!

My FI and I stayed at Secrets Silversands last December. The resort is great!!! The food is also great, which is usually a big concern of travelers to mexico. They'll treat you like a princess too with signs on your door and rose petals on your bed...room service after a day at the pool/beach is awesome. I did see a wedding while we were there from our rooms balcony. It was at the Gazebo which is not very close to the beach although you can see the ocean in the distance and it is nice. The beach is average...nothing too exciting but I think I would prefer it on the beach than at the gazebo......

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
