Hey guys, I have no idea what I want for our honeymoon. I know I want to leave Jamaica and go somewhere but no idea where. I thought about St. Tropez, France, then realized the beaches will still be chilly in March. I'm open to any suggestions within 10 hrs flying time of America...smile35.gif

St. Tropez will definitely still be chilly. Did think about staying within the Caribbean or did you want to go clear across the globe in a different direction (we are marrying in Turks and Caicos but honeymooning in the French Polynesian Islands) if so there is Hawaii, Fiji, Bora Bora, Maldives (actually the last two may be over 10hrs flight). If you stay in the Caribbean well there is so much to choose from: St. Lucia is one of my favs, Barbados, Antigua, St. Barts, Nevis, Anguilla, St. Marten and oh of course my homeland....sweet T&T...Trinidad and Tobago (though Tobago is way way better for honeymooning than Trinidad). What activities were you looking to do?

Well, i definitely want a spa, I can't swim so snorkeling is not important lol. I kind of want somewhere exotic like the rainforest, i looked into belize but FI is not impressed lol. I like the Maldives and Bora Bora but they are too far, I don't want to spend half my honeymoon in the air lol. I kinda want to leave the Caribbean but in order for the weather to be good and within 10 hrs, i think i might be stuck. I might look into St. Barts didn't think of that one. Thanks!

I would say if spa and relaxing and rainforest is your thing look into Costa Rica!!!

Hotel Punta Islita Luxury Beach Resort and Villas, Guanacaste, Costa Rica you can't go wrong with a relaxing vacation and the ability to still do nature excursions into the rainforest or spend everywaking minute by the pool or spa it up.

Belize is very beautiful and does have alot to offer in terms of rainforest and spa. If you stay in the Caribbean definitely check into St. Bart though I must warn you that it will be very very quiet in March. Or like I said St. Lucia is such a great mix of all worlds, you have the Pitons, you have beautiful beaches and wonderful spa retreat resorts on the island.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
