Sounds great, Azadeh, you are in expert hands!

Today I checked out The Grand Palladium Resort and also visited Dreams Tulum... I got amazing pictures, (well, my husband did), and I will be posting LOTS of hotel reviews when I get home!

Best wishes,

TA Wendy

After dealing with at least 4 or 5 travel agents, I finally found my travel agent aka travel angel. She has made everything extremely easy and has bent over backwards for my fiance and me...including answering ALL of our questions with great detail and honesty. She is quick to respond and ALWAYS tries to meet my requests. I honestly do not know how I would get through these past few months without her. She even got all my guests booked and paid in full 2 months BEFORE the wedding!!!! THANKS SO MUCH WENDY!!!!!!!!cheer2.gif

I 100% agree!! Wendy Hicks is amazing!! Every one of our guests who dealt with Wendy directly raved about her. All said she was extremely nice and helpful. We had guests traveling from around the world (Portland, LA, NYC, all around Mexico, Spain, Germany, Chile... ) and Wendy was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very patient with changes and after hour phone calls (tough work coordinating 95 people). Wendy was just so kind and personable!  The rate Wendy got us through American Express travel was as good and better than any other prices we saw (and our guests shopped around). The hotel rates also included transfers to and from the hotel, which was GREAT for our guests.

Agreed!  Wendy was an integral part of our decision to have a destination wedding!!  Her timeliness and responsiveness with emails and phone calls (while we were on separate coasts!) was so reassuring.  We had around 65 guests who attended our wedding, and it could not have been possible without Wendy!  She also worked very hard secretly with my husband to book our honeymoon travel, and could not have been more helpful! We love Wendy!

Ahhh, you guys, thank you so much! I love what I do, and I love working with wedding couples and guests! Everyone is so excited and happy to be going, and I always know that if my part of the process makes it a little easier, and less stressful for the wedding couple, I have done my job!

Agreed! Wendy has been so great to work with! I may not have a wedding date if it weren't for her stepping in to help get a reply from the resort!! Thanks again Wendy!!! Excited to get my invites out before the end of the month hopefully, so our guests can start contacting you! wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
