Affordable Photographer for Cancun Wedding!!!

Recommended Posts

Vanessa C,

I don't know if you're also considering a videographer, but I thought I would share this with you. If you also want video, Gran Caribe charges you $350 for each "concept" vendor. They consider video and photos to be one concept, so you can bring in outside videographer and an outside photographer and only charge you a $350 outside vendor fee for both. Just learned that yesterday.

I was married less than two weeks - 6/18/2010 - at Catalonia Riviera Maya. The photographer I used was great and afforable!! He charges $250 an hour. We booked him for 2 hours and he took around 200 pictures. Our Wedding was on Friday and he met us at the airport the following monday and brought us our CD with every picture he took as well as 70 printed photos of our choice ( we picked the photos out online saturday). Our resort charged $40 for a day pass for photographers. Feel free to view my pictures at Cancun Wedding Photographers in Riviera Maya. At the bottom of the home page put tonia in the user name blank. Our videographer was awesome as well. He charged $750 and was worth every penny!!! I would highly recommend getting a video, they caught moments and memories the camera can not!!! Good Luck Ladies!! I promise in the end it is SO WORTH all the stress!! Best Day of My Life!!

My date is Feb 20th. Ha I am right between you ladies. I wish we could split the cost but the lucky photographer would get three weeks in the riveria maya. Let me know what you guys find. Right now I am looing into Sascha. I actually ran into is web site a few weeks back and feel he would be perfect for our event. We are only looking to have a few pictures taken at the ceromony and then maybe around the resort, and we don't have a bridal party.

Here is his site.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
