Indian Wedding Coordinator/Rental?

Recommended Posts

In an attempt to plan a fusion destination wedding in Cancun, I have realized that there are several items that would be so much easier to just rent for the big day, rather than lugging it around in my suitcase. Are there any coordinators or vendors who can rent these items?? Please help!

Well, I am at Moon Palace so they are pretty strict about vendors...Zuniga at Zúñiga Productions | Special Event Services for Groups and Conventions have some Indian-themed decor items including Ganesh and Natraj statues...they can also make pretty much anything...for a price. They would be your best bet, if you didnt want to buy and ship things yourself.

Hi ladies -- I am just starting to plan my destination indian wedding, but looking into the Dominican Republic.  I was leaning against Mexico because I thought it would hard to find Indian decor/caterers.  Are you finding Mexico to be a challenge with this?

Ganesh 2.JPGThis is the Ganesh statue that Zuniga has available for $150. They also have a Natraj, but I don't know the price.

They offer tenting and draping options that look Arabic/Indian-inspired, if you want to include that for a cocktail hour or reception option. Personally, I don't like that palm trees, but the bright colors and draped booths are right up my alley!Mystic Lounge3.jpg

As far as indian food goes...I think we'll just go with Mexican, its probably what they do best in Cancun. We will be doing the Mehndi at home, I had no luck finding anyone in Cancun. Hope it helps, girls!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
