LeeLee and other MCR brides 2 be, we are planning on March 2011! Right now we are set for the March 29th (Tuesday) but that may change. Anyone else going to be down there that week or around that week?  If so maybe we should start another spring 2011 thread for MCR!

Hi there!  No, I put down the $500 deposit to lock in the date and then we dug into the proposal--a few months later.  Ihad a estimate of what everything would cost based on their documents, but adding 'this and that' really adds up!  LOL! 

 

We received the proposal, but are in the process of a few tweaks.  I didn't want to risk loosing our date, so I put the deposit down right away! 

 

Yea to MCR!

 

p.s.  I do think it would be a great idea to start a MCR 2011 thread!

Hi!  There is not a late night disco--but they do have entertainment on certain nights.  When I went on our site visit, they had a live band on Saturday night, Sunday night was Casino/Cards and DJ on Monday night--which was so much fun.  Everyone was dancing!  It changes by the week/season.  I love the Melia and would highly recommend!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
