Congrats and welcome to the forum. I have to agree with Rachel planning a DW isn't easy but thank God for this forum! The ladies are wonderful, Tammy the host was ingenius in thinking up a place where us DWBs can exchange ideas, build friendships and support each other through this process. Take a deep breath, and then dive right into the forum, as you do you'll find lots of help and support especially on those stressful days. Good luck and happy planning!

Welcome to BDW! The initial planning is the part that I struggled/stressed over the most. This forum will definitely give you lots of insight and hopefully make it a little less overwhelming. Take a deep breath and remember that it really is all about you and FI :o)

Hey welcome to the forum and congrats on your engagement. Just beginning to plan a DW is very confusing and it just seems like there is so much to learn about and do. But all I have to say is don't worry, you can relax now, you are among friends. Everyone on the forum is just so cool, friendly and sharing. Anything you want to know, feel free to ask. There is tons of different information on here about a lot of different destinations especially Mexico and DR, so you have come to the right place. Good luck with your planning!

Don't give up!! This will eventually fall into place. I was very confused when starting this whole process, but found it helpful to pick a place, and then a resort first. Once the resort was picked everything else seemed to fall into place. There is tons of useful information here that you can definetly use! Welcome, and happy planning:)

Awww....You ladies are the best! I am so happy that I found this site! I am starting to feel a little more at ease as there is so much helpful info here!!

 

And I am quickly realizing that a wedding at home would be more stressful (ewwww)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
