Hi guys!

I am new too. This is my first post on this web page. Not really a good writer cheesy.gif

Tulum is a great place, we went there 2 days after we got engaged, we loved it and  we decided to have our wedding there.

Getting married April 2nd 2011.We chose La Zebra for the big day: the setup is great, the food amazing and the drinks...well.... out of this world!

We live in NYC and our guests will fly in from all over: US, Canada, Europe. We created a web page to help everybody book their trip.

Our WP is great, so professional. She spent a few hours with us while we were there showing us different resorts to choose from.

La Zebra is such a beautiful resort! Awsome choice. I am getting married in RM. I have been to that resort specifically but I have seen hundreds of photos of the resort from the Del Sol Wiki located here --->

I'm also finding that it it super addicting!

Barcelo is located in XPU-HA, its about 30 minutes North of Tulum actually.  XPU-HA is absolutely beautiful....also, close to lots of things to do in the region as well, ruins, tours, etc.   Be sure to take a day trip to Akumal and swim with the turtles.

Saludos,

mateo

Well i should start with the beginning. 2 years ago we went to Jamaica for our vacation. The resort was OK but the beach was the smallest ever, we had to fight for a nice spot on the beach. We decided that next time will travel in the Caribbeans will make sure we have a nice big beach.

This year we start looking around and  we found Tulum worth trying. He proposed 3 days before we left to Mexico. On a Saturday evening while we were there, walking on the beach we saw a wedding. I never wanted a traditional wedding so i knew right away  that Tulum is the place where we are going to get married. I asked around and found a wedding planner to show us around . We hire her, she is great

2 months after we booked our wedding  Tulum was voted the #2  in the world for Beach&Sun in the 2010 Trip Advisor

We build a web page for our guests www.alinaanddee.com . I hope you guys find all the info helpful.( In my first post i spelled wrong the web page, i asked to be changed but nothing happened. )

On the big, day we'll have the ceremony on the beach at sunset, followed by cocktails and mariachi band on the sand. Then we'll move up to the palapa for dinner before we hit the deck for dancing under the stars!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
