WOW! Thank you for all of the responses. The wedding is in Cancun. My daughter and I live in different states, so involving myself in forums, such as this, makes me feel at least a little involved. I'm also sure that my daughter, just like all of you brides, don't really want my opinions......but, that is where all of you guys will come in. She will listen to you! Ha! Julie is 32, lives in Va. and is marrying a wonderful man. His family will be traveling from California to Cancun, while our family will be leaving the east coast.

Wow, that's so nice of you to try and get ideas from other brides for your daughter. I know sometimes when mom's give their opinions we just don't listen, so this is a great way for you to get involved!

Ask away! It has been so great talking to all the other Dreams Cancun brides (and everyone in general)! We are able to exchange and share information, which is REALLY helpful, because e-mail response with the wedding coordinator at Dreams, can be slow (no surprise, when you consider she get upwards of 100 e-mail a day!). There are a couple of threads strictly with info on Dreams Cancun. You may want to start there. Otherwise, just let us know what you need...anything!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
