The time has finally come,

I said yes and weâ€ll become one.

It wonâ€t be June or in July,

But January, we will fly

You wonâ€t need boots or a hat,

But, it will be hot, I promise you that.

Go ahead and take a guess…

Itâ€s Jamaica mon… with no stress

January is the date to wait,

So donâ€t forget to save the date.

Add your name and the official dates

Here is an idea.. I hope it helps... : )

It wont be in summer but the cold month of January.

Don't be alarmed outside wont be snowy & scary.

It's gonne be really hot we can promise you that.

You won't need a parka, boots or a hat.

Do you think you know? Do you have a clue?

We're going to Jamaica mon! We hope you can too!

We're getting married January 11, so you've got a bit of a wait!

We're going to have an amazing time so be sure to save the date!

Looking back I guess I never even changed it up too much LOL....but where I did I think it sounds way better.

And of course MissLightingBug you can steal my ideas...I'm sure I've borrwed enough from other people on this site that it's my turn to give back! lol

Love the poem! We did a really simple, kinda cheesy one....

He asked the question

The answer was yes,

insert name here is going to wear

a wedding dress.

We're off to the beach

to get it done,

come to Mexico

and join in the fun.

Definitely cheesy, but great for our homemade save the dates :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
