I don't even know where to start - We just love Caribbean Emotions!

Ahhhh yes! Michael and Caribbean Emotions... What words can be expressed when you are trying to pick a photographer for your big day? How do you do it, what things do you look for in a photographer??... Well, the answer lies in Michael Weiler.

My hubby and I chose Michael from Caribbean Emotions after reviewing many different photographer's websites and comparing their work and prices. What we found is that though prices varied widely, few photographers sharply differentiated themselves in pictures. Michael was the exception.

I can't believe how wonderful the photos turned out! Both my husband and I are incredibly awkward to take photos of, but all of the photos look magazine ready. We have received so much positive feedback from our friends and family already. I don't know how he did it! Michael did an amazing job using lighting, filters to create truly unique photos.

While we were there we saw another couple with their own photographer and could see how most of their time was spent in one spot doing the same photo over and over. He simply didn't have the same level of creativity of Michael.
Okay, so other that the amazing photos, there are a lot of other reasons to love Caribbean Emotions photo. They responded to all of my questions and emails quickly (thanks Michael!), they had all of our edited photos ready just a few days after the wedding, they let you have unlimited digital images, they are artistic and always looking to refine their craft, and they are a friendly, family company to boot!

Overall, I highly recommend using Michael Weiler for your wedding.
I think ultimately, what we remember the most or will treasure the most are the pictures so, I'll let them speak for themselves: http://www.caribbeanemotions.com/

Thanks for the great photos Michael - we can't wait to have a special occasion for you to shoot again :)

Thanks Anita!

Michael is truly amazing!! I just emailed him tonight and he replied within 5 mins - no joke! I was concerned about having our wedding on a Sunday (Nov 27) and then leaving on the Wednesday (Nov 30), which will not give him enough time to develop all of our pictures and prepare our coffee book. He replied back with "no problem, I'll have everything ready by the 29th". How crazy is that? I am SO HAPPY that we booked with Caribbean Emotions!! pinkie.gif

Hi ladies,

I have to second Kari's comments below.

We just got back from our wedding at Dreams Punta Cana a few weeks ago and we can't say enough on what an awesome job HDC did with our wedding photos. Our photographer was Francisco and he did a fantastic job of making both my fiance and I feel at ease during our photoshoot. I'm sure that most will agree that posing for photos for hours at a time, is generally not a natural experience for most of us but looking at the photos that Francisco took, you would have thought that we were models on the side :) (maybe not looking like them, but certainly as comfortable in front of a camera as one:))

There turnaround was amazing. We got married on a Thursday afternoon/evening and we met with Arnaud on Saturday morning to review our top 100 photos, from the 340 photos they took, that were to be printed and turned into a professional slideshow.  Once we made our picks, they told us that our prints and the DVD of the slideshow and photos would be ready that afternoon, which they were! As we got home, we have shared our photos with our family and friends and they have all be really impressed with the photos, some of the shots people have thought looked like they belong in a bridal magazine editorial fashion shoot.

All this, and their prices are extremely reasonable.

If you go with them you will not be disappointed. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

From the very first email exhange to picking up our photos just two days after the wedding, they were great. We had one photographer and one videographer and they were with us for 5.5 hours. I received all of the photos and the video two days following the wedding, as well as a link to the website where family and friends could view them.

Both Arnaud and Milan were kind, funny and patient with us and really made stunning phots. We laughed a lot with them and our guests thought they were very charming.

The prices were very reasonable and thye accept payment via paypal, which made paying from the US a breeze.

If you ahve any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best,

Kari

I haven't read any reviews but we were looking to book with her as well and she was SO amazing to email with.  Have you looked at her website? Her work is phenomenal!!  I would also suggest checking out Katya Nova, Julia recommended her when she wasn't available as did our TA.  Both FI and I fell in love with Katyas work immediately!!! The pictures are so important to me that we just knew she was right for us!!!!

Check her out online or on facebook!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
