I have been working out hardcore since January. I've seen lots of progress, weight lost and I even see the start of a 6 pack...BUT now with a month left to go, I have NO motivation. I've worked so hard to get here and now I am losing the last motivation that I have.

any suggestions of how to get over the slump?

Oh No! You're so close!!! Plus you didn't do this JUST for the wedding...you did it for YOU...and for a healthy lifestyle long after the wedding, right?! Exactly! So maybe you need to switch things up. Maybe switch up your workout routine and instead of doing something hardcore, maybe take a dance class. Oooo...how about pole dancing or belly dancing...and you can show the hubby your new moves on your honeymoonlookatme.gif

No worries...don't beat yourself...if the motivation comes in spurts that's fine too.

Sometimes it can be as easy as changing up the music in your ipod.. I know it sounds dumb, but I have this "running music" I always listen to when I run, but after about a month or so I have to change up a lot of the songs, get something new a fresh in there...

Also with the spring/summer weather being here now, get outside... Go to the park, I bought a bike this year (it's a cute cruiser bike with a basket and a bell), I don't drive my car anywhere less than what a 5 minute drive would be..

I do like the idea of a pole dancing class too... Such a great work out from what i've heard and so much fun!

Keep up the good work! It's so worth it!elefant.gif

What about taking a great new spin class? I definitely agree with changing up your Ipod music! Sometimes you just need a little change to kick you back into gear. Also, why not set some super short-term goals (like working out x amount of days this week or doing x amount of reps with weights) and then set some awesome reward for yourself? Hello fun honeymoon clothes or relaxing massage! Keep it up Lady, you're almost there!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
