Any Iberostar Varadero Brides!!!

Honestly, I haven't thought that far. We're still trying to nail down all of the details. At this point, probably just use the resort's photographer and rely on our guests for pictures, but who knows, might change our minds.

Hi Islanbride 2011!

We are also considering IB Varadero for the 2nd week of March 2011 (2nd choice is Melia Varadero). Did Belkis say it was quite full at this period of the year, for wedding? Are we too late for booking?

Thanks!

Hi! Did anyone reply to the original post about a photographer or am I blind? (I wouldn't doubt that I missed it!!!!) I am getting married at the Iberostar Varadero in December and wondering if anyone has used the hotel photographer? I would like nice photos but definitly don't have the budget to fly a photographer there...Would be nice though, hahah:)

I was wondering about the resort photographer as well. Looking at some of the prices the photographers charge makes my eyes pop out of my head! We are paying for four of us to go there, plus the wedding package fee, plus all the other expenses the wedding will cost us. Paying that for photos seems way insane to me.

One of my friends is an amateur photographer, some of hers are really nice and she loves going camera crazy. She and her husband are thinking of coming, but so far they don't know. If she comes, my problem is solved. If she doesn't, I'll be going with the resort photographer.

The Iberostar Varadero beach-side gazebo doesn't really accomodate guests though, does it?  I saw some pics of people standing around the gazebo, which I wasn't too keen on, unless it was a really quick ceremony, but still.  I haven't seen that many set ups on the beach that look that amazing there either.  I don't know if they offer multiple set up options thought?

Hi Ladies!

I am getting married at the Iberostar Laguna Azul on April 4, 2011, so I just wanted to see if anyone was interested in sharing a photographer with me??  I've found some great rates, which will be even better if we split the photographer's travel cost.

Let me know!

Cristina

Hi everyone,

I'm getting married May 6th at the Iberostar Varadero. Just wondering if any of you are bringing your own photographer. We haven't booked one yet, but we were hoping to share one with another couple to save some money. Anyone else getting married the first week of May 2011?

hola Brides! I just found this site and was interested to know about the Photographers and the quality of their work etc. I too am getting married at the Iberostar Varadero on April 11, 2011. I was in touch with Belkis at the early stages of our booking back in July and August, she has been great. I have been told in other forums to just enjoy the wedding and relax, and I know I will how could you not the reviews for this hotel and from other brides have been spectacular. I wish you all fantastic wedding days and lots of fun and sunshine. If you have any suggestions or ideas on local photographers or legally working photographers who will be down there this spring I would love to know.

Cheers!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
