April Fools Proposal

Recommended Posts

I was driving to a friend's house & got lost, so I called my fiance to help me find my way back to somewhere familiar. I was in a not so great part of town & was completely stress out! He was trying to keep me calm, but I got so frustrated that he didn't know where I was & hung up on him. I finally answered his call after a few "ignores" & of course he helped me find my way back home. (I decided to go home becuase I ended up on our side of town!) I ran inside because I had to go to the bathroom so bad & when I came out I tried to sit on his lap to apologize for yelling at him & hanging up on him. He wouldn't let me sit on his lap, which I thought was so weird. He distrated me & said "did you see the Easter basket I made you?" (I had been teasing him about making me a basket for Easter) I started to tear up because I didn't get him anything for Easter & felt really bad. He had put my favorite candies in it & there was a present wrapped up. I opened the present & it was a Bride magazine & a Destination Wedding magazine!! I of course started crying & he got down on one knee & asked me to marry him. I don't remember everything he said because I was walking away from him practically hyperventilating, but it was really sweet. He was going to propose on his birthday, which is the 18, but we were going out of town the next morning for Easter weekend & he wanted to do it before we left. He had bought my favorite bottle of champagne & favorite dinner (fondue) for the evening!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
