We are doing the same thing and I'm wondering if the money could go toward the add ons as well??

Well, we will be there for 10 nights so I'm sure we will use up the money one way or another but it would be nice if it could go toward wedding add ons :-)

HaHa! I just commented on the ASP thread. So that pdf doesn't say anything about the wedding add-ons then?

I know I keep flip flopping between both threads. LOL! It just says wedding collections so I guess it doesnt apply to add ons but it's worth a shot to ask for the credit on the add ons...

I read that someone said if you have over 25 rooms booked you dont qualify, but i dont think that is true...Im going to check with my TA...I dont think it would be fair if Im bringing that many people to a resort that they wouldnt qualify for the same promotions as other people?

My TA checked for me yesterday and our group should be over 25 rooms and she said we still qualify since it is replacing the passport that was in our original contract.

OK…I spoke to Melissa and she explained that if you are the bride and groom and has signed a group contract with the resort and has booked 25+ rooms, then you get 7 complementary nights, unlimited private functions and a room upgrade. You also get the $1500 vacation dollars which you can use for tours, spa, private dinner and room upgrade. They are two separate entities one deals with reservations ($1500) and the other is considered group amenities (25+ rooms booked).

For your guest:

3-4 nights they will earn $750

5+ nights they will earn $1500

The promotion will be credited to their room once they check in. Guest must check in on dates June 1st thru December 23, 2011 to be eligible.

Hope this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
