Downloading fonts for Powerpoint

Hi hope this question was not already addressed above, but can someone please tell me how I can download a font and use it in Powerpoint.

ummm, you can go to microsoft office online and try to get extra fonts there. What are you trying to make? I suggest using Microsoft publisher for any invitations, programs, etc. Its loaded with usable templates and tends to have a good of "invitation" worthy fonts and properties. Another option is using a MAC computer and its version of an MS Word program. MACs has an extensive amount of fonts.

You can find a huge variety of "free for personal use" fonts at dafont.com.

 

Download the zip file, extract the .ttf file and copy and paste it into your fonts folder (in your windows folder).

 

Then you can access them in any program.

If you have a mac it's pretty much the same thing except after downloading the font, you open up your font book, which you can find in applications and then add font (make sure and download where it can be easily found). And then you have your font to use in any program you wish.

Thanks i was just trying to figure out how to do this.. So i did a search and found it. I hope i'm able to do it... as i'm tying to make my wedding logos.

wooooooooo hooooooooooooo it worked!!!!! thanks SOOOOOO MUCH i had seriously been goggling trying to figure this out for like 30mins... with these instruction i did it in about 5 mins.... my mom is over and had to ask me why i was screaming and yelling THANKS!!!!!
