Convertible Bridesmaid Dress- Where? -Help!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Not sure where in Ontario you are, but if you are near Toronto, check out this site:

http://www.henkaa.com/convertible-dresses

A friend of mine used them for her BM dresses and they were amazing! They were lucky and bought them before the company really took off and only paid $100 ... they've gone up since.

I have found quite a few.  Some a too clingy for what I'm looking for, but I just typed "convertible dress" in the search and a bunch came up.  This is what I'm looking at:

Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone is still considering the VS multi-way dress as it is cheaper than all the other ones posted on this site. I was on wedding bee and there were some great reviews regarding the dress; however, I have also heard people say it is too clingy and wouldn't be flattering on bigger girls. Any thoughts?

My girls have chosen the short and flirty VS dress in Red.

I love it! It is a bit short but my girls have great legs so they don't care, also 2 are a bit on the bigger side and they are comfortable in it. It doesn't cling like the one my MOH is wearing:

They also have a "long and flirty"

I just got my bridesmaids infinity dresses off of etsy.  They are $65 for the tea length dresses.  She also has other lengths.

I was having a very hard time finding the right colour and the seller didn't have the colour I wanted on her etsy page, but when I contacted her she told me she could do my colour!  We went back and forth with pictures until we had the colour right and than I bought 1 dress to start.  I got the dress within 3 week, shipped from Singapore and it was over the holidays, I was impressed with how quickly it came.  When it arrived I LOVED it!  It was perfect!  And so much fun! The straps are sooo long you can wrap and wrap and wrap! And the colour was perfect!  I immediatly ordered the others!! I can't wait for them to come in!

Here is the link.

I too, like Krys21 above, bought knee length convertible dresses from kinderbliss seller from etsy over the holidays. I bought a Plus size eggplant dress and eggplant tube tops/bandeaus. The tube top cost an extra $15 dollars but worth the purchase. Wht Krys21 said above is right about how long the straps are. I'm 5'4 and I would guess that they are almost double the length of my body. My bridesmaid had no problem with the length or width of the straps around her body. The straps cover her bust and tummy area perfectly. Her bust size is 42DD, she wears a street size 20/22 in clothing. She can wear a bra with the convertible dress with tube top and can wear it many ways. Kay from kinderbliss communication was great and I had no problems shipping to Canada over the christmas holiday either. Right now, I just ordered another convertible dress (regular size) because I was so happy with Kinderbliss. Measurements and fabric were perfect. My bridesmaid has already washed her convertible dress and it came out great because of the quality of the jersey fabric. My bridemaids can't wait to use their convertible dresses. I too would recommend Kinderbliss etsy store. I'm so glad we didn't pay for the expensive Henkaa dresses that we wanted.

I'm just posting the link again just in case Krys21 link doesn't work:http://www.etsy.com/shop/kinderbliss

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
