The seller makes surf boards that are 47" high x 15 1/4" wide. Then you could use different color paint pens for your guest to sign.

It looks great! It doesn't look much fun to tote to Mexico though...

I love the idea of keeping it on my coffee table and reading through it on occasion :).

I made a book with pics from our resort too from Shutterfly.com. I love the idea of fun pens. I did a black back ground so I need to use metallic pens. At least that is what I was thinking. I wonder if colored sharpies will workhuh.gif?

I just ordered a photobook from mypublisher.com. I have 38 guests coming so what I did was create a page for every person/couple coming with pictures of them/us on it. I'll then have them sign their own picture page...The book ended up costing around $34 +shipping.

Here's a link to the book if anyone wants to check it out!

Let's see if this link works:

I'm using a map of the Dominican Republic as my guest book. Someone else posted the idea on another thread & I liked it so much I decided to use it too. I found an old looking map on Ebay for $19.99. Once we get back, I'll have it matted & framed so that we can hang it.

My FI and I are doing a Wedding Tree as our Guestbook. I wanted something that we could hang out in the house when we get home from the wedding instead of something that will just sit on a shelf and get dusty. We are having people put their thumb print as the leaf and then just signing their names.

Jazzy, I'm just as challenged when it comes to writing. Our paint-your-own pottery place here has stencils that you can use & the store associates will actually help you if you're especially challenged. Check to see if someone at your store can help. They may be able to do the pencil design & you can trace over it with paint. Still DIY but with some assistance!

We're going to use this guestbook.  My cousin has a portable printer made for pictures so she'll bring that and we'll ask someone to take pictures of everyone so guests can leave a note under their picture.

Though now I'm sort of wishing I'd seen that photobook idea before...definitely cheaper and easier!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
