LONG review of my experience and wedding at the amazing Paradisus Punta Cana!

Recommended Posts

Thanks again for your review. I was wondering if you could help me with something... I want to have an informal "Meet and Greet" before the wedding and I'm looking for a place that I can just tell my family and friends to stop by and say hello and where we can grab a couple of drinks and catch up.

Which of the following (or other places) would you recommend?

Gabi Bar

Hibiscus Bar

Tea Time

Thanks!

We didn't actually pay when we got into the airport because they handed out the tourist cards on our flight! But I think it depends what airline you fly because we did see a lot of people purchasing them for $10. Might wanna check with your airline :)

I'm not kidding, there is not one bad shot! They all turned out fantastic, it was so hard to decide which ones to print!

Congratulations on your union, and I can only pray for the patience, peace, and understanding you exhibited throughout your journey. I t obviously paid off for you. I am new to the scene, and have bounced from Negril to RM and was researching the Secrets Sanctuary CC, you have made me a Paradisus believer and I will now concede with FI on the intimate crowd of 16.

We all have learned soo much from this forum and detailed and accurate wedding reviews are one of the best ways to give back. cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
