Beaches T&C Photos

Good Morning,

 

I am getting married at Beaches Turks and Caicos in June. The thing I am most nervous about is photography. They offer no portfolio of their photographers. I was hoping any brides who've recently were married at Beaches T&C could share their photo's from the onsite photographers.

 

Also any tips/advice will be helpful!

Hi Kath! We just got back on the 12th. The we used Tropical Imaging for photos the day before the wedding but then purchased a disk of 10 pictures the resort photographer took on the day of the wedding. They were $20 a photo to add to a disk (a little pricy) but they turned out ok. Here are a few of them. Let me know if you have more questions.

I just got married in the Bahamas! We brought a photographer with us. The price was VERY reasonable. Once it was all said and done - the 1st thing I said to my wife was I couldn't imagine not bringing a Photographer with us. She did a GREAT job, TONS of pics and WE get the copies.

My understanding is that if you use there photographer you don't get copies of the pictures and your limited to the amount you can take. Just a thought but you might want to look into bringing your own.

You have to purchase a disk from them to use their photos which can be expensive. That's why we went with Tropical Imaging & did our photos the day before. The photos that TI did vs what Beaches did aren't even comparible, TI's are so much better quality.

Chrissy (Girasole)'s photos just went up on our blog, so you can compare...Chrissy, you were glowing and David said you guys were good fun! Love the palm tree shot and the opening sunset scene (though I wished david had posted the bigger version vs the thumbnail)

Well after some easy convincing, I am canceling my Photography package with Beaches and have talked to Ileana and I am booking with Tropical Imaging.....Now the question is, what photographer?! I am stuck

Ha! Congrats! You will love your photos no matter what photographer you use, they are all great! Of course we used Dave & thought he was great. I know Meagan used Ileana & I think Winnie did too. Kelly (she's there now) has Dave as well. I think you will be very happy with your decision, I know we were. Thanks for posting mine Krys!

So, It's Official!!!!!! We booked David at Tropical Imaging today. We cannot wait and I am so glad we made the switch, even though its only a few weeks away. Ileana was great in answering all my questions and giving me advice and working with our very tough and tight schedule!

Glad to hear it all worked out. I just read this and I was about to suggest you go with TI but I see you already made the switch. Ileana is great she will be doing my BD, wedding and TTD. Good luck to you and remember to post pics when you get back and keep us updated.
