what do you all eat for breakfast?

i am trying to keep my breakfast meal under 200 calories and it is a challenge!

right now i am doing:

1 hard boiled egg (70 calories)

1 slice of Ezekiel Bread, toasted (90 calories)

1 tsp Earth Balance Buttery spread (approx 50 calories)

this is deliciouos and filling but doesn't leave me room to have breakfast out or at work because it is too specific and has to be made at home.

I drink coffee at home before I leave for work then around 9:30 or 10:00 I eat a quaker bar (oatmeal raisin) 90 calories. then If I am still hungry I will eat a banana around 11:00am (80 calories). Otherwise...i tried eating breakfast before I left home and I was already hugry again an hour later...

I drink at least one water bottle before lunch too.

I guess this has to be made at home too, but here is my fave:

1 toasted whole grain english muffin

1 egg white (fried in just a spritz of Pam)

1 piece of turkey bacon

put it all together to make a breakfast sandwich. It's 2 WW points...not sure of the calories, but has protein and fiber which will keep you fuller longer.

I find oatmeal is the easiest way for my to keep a meal to 200 calories. It's so filling. I didn't like it before, but I found the apples & cinnamon flavor. I love it. I eat a big breakfast though- 2 bowls of cherrios with strawberries. It's much easier for me to have a small dinner than a small breakfast, so I often replace a full dinner with oatmeal.

Oh, I just eat a cup of cereal. Today was special k with berries. It's only 110 calories and then I don't drink my milk afterwards, so I really only get a 1/2 cup, so 55 calories.

I need to eat protein b/c I'm a vegetarian, so every morning I have a Zone Chocolate Caramel Cluster protein bar. They are the only protein bars that I think actually taste good. I'm pretty sure they are about 200 calories and 7 grams of fat and have 15 grams of protein.

I have either -

Egg white on toast

Quaker Oats Low Sugar Oatmeal (2 ww points)

Fat free vanilla yogurt with frozen fruit in it and Trader Joes low fat almond granola.

Not really help on the not at home meals. Starbucks does sell a yogurt/fruit/granola thing now w only 4g of fat and 11 g of protein, but it has more than 200 cal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
