KarenM's Planning Thread!

Thanks girls, so nice of you!!

Shannon, that sounds like the perfect way for him to have received his book!

Autumn, you're so sweet, thank you! I'll definitely be having a Coronita, or 2 or 3. :)

I made hair flowers for my bridesmaids so I thought I'd post them too. Nothing super detailed, but one of them mentioned wanting a flower so I thought I'd make one for each of them.

Karen,

I am in love with everything! I especially adore your blue shoes and was in fact eye-ing the same pair for myself :) Your guests are going to love all the care and personal touches you've put in.

Your bridesmaid hair flowers are perfect. Seeing your thread and so many other b2b's planning threads makes me nostalgic already for that feeling "I'm about to get married!". You must be getting so excited wink.gif

Thanks for sharing Karen! Can't wait to read your review once you return!

Love your hair & make-up inspiration pics. Are you going to get that done at the Dreams salon??

How much is the lounge furniture for the cocktail hour? It looks great!

Yep, definitely getting the hair/makeup done at the spa. We start Sat at 2 with hair, followed by makeup, and my 3 bridesmaids are also having hair and/or makeup done too. (Our ceremony starts at 6). I'll bring those pics to show them what I'd like & will let ya know how it goes.

The lounge furniture is an extra $500 but it's up for the whole night. We figured some people won't want to dance the whole time and would like a nice place to sit so hopefully it'll be worth it!

We leave in an hour! I can't wait!!!

Thanks again peeps! Appreciate all the kind words!
¡Salud!

I love your posts!

I love your jewelry. I think I might have to go with her also. I also love your idea to give bridesmaid a clutch. I have bought a little asian cosmetic mirror and wondering how i was going to give it to them. This clutch is an awesome idea!

DIY projects... what can I say more. It's wonderful. Everything looks store bought - perfect.

I hope you have a beautiful wedding and can't wait till hear more about it.

Congratulations!

Chong

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
