The End of An ERA

For all you Law and Order fans out there, the original Law and order, which has been on the air for 20 years (20 seasons) has been cancelled! It has tied with Gun Smoke as the longest running show on tv.

Dick Wolf is now making Law and Order: Los Angeles. How could he? Law and Order is synonymous with NYC. It is sacrilege. But I guess all things come to an end. Right now I am mourning the passing of my favorite show on television. To me there will never be another.

I have given it a moment of silence, it deserved it!

Aisha, I saw the cancellation news at work and thought of you (recently read your love of law and order). Sorry for you. I watched the reruns over and over but recently switched to bones (on tnt) and criminal minds (on a&e) reruns in the afternoon after work.

Everyone who knows me knows of my love (ummm... obsession with all of the L&O's but the original most particularly) so I have been getting a lot of msgs, as people find out about the cancellation. My FI is always amazed how L&O is the only show I have any kind of concentration for on tv, except for the Food Network, and National Geographic stuff. I watch Bones sometimes cause he likes that show. But other than that is L&O all the way. I guess on the up side, he knows what to get me for my birthday - L&O dvds. YAY!

I don't watch Bones too often but LOVE LOVE LOVE Criminal Minds! Maybe cause I am a psych student :) We do watch a number of Law & Order-esque shows in this house!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
