Cabo Wedding April 2010 - Vendor Reviews

Recommended Posts

My FI and I have both agreed we want to have a private location for our wedding with our own vendors and such.

My question is: Did your/Does your WC help you decide what locations are best or did you pick your wedding location on your own? I've only been to Cabo once and think I will need help!

Thanks!

J

My husband and I had been to Cabo before but never together. We decided on a private villa b/c of the noise restrictions at all of the hotels. Who wants to stop dancing at 10 pm on your wedding night?!? Not us! At the villa we went until 3 am!  We narrowed our search really by villas without noise restrictions and beach access b/c we wanted a ceremony on the beach.  I then had my WC do site visits and give me her opinion.

Hope that helps!

Hi Cammie, thanks for your review.  So I'm seriously considering the Blue Seas Villas...  Where did most of your guests stay?  Walking distance is Marbella and close to that is the Hilton...  Did you stay the entire wedding trip or just the minimum 2 nights?  Was it difficult for you to choose who would stay in the villa or did people decide themselves and did you subsidize at all?  Also, I'd love to see pictures but it looks like your link expired.  My email address is anna.shahsovar@gmail.com if you could email me whatever (pics, answers, adivce, etc.), I'd be so grateful!!!  Thanks cammie.  I hope to hear from you soon! :) Anna

We have booked Blue Sea Villas for our wedding in April 2011. We are having the ceremony on the beach and the reception at one of the houses (Ville Anne-Lie). If you have any tips on hosting the wedding at that spot, I would love to hear them.  THanks!

tini70...I am a MOB and am such a newbie on this site.I have become addicted to reading all this great info. Ok, so you have already had your wedding.

My daughter has not yet set the date. We love Cabo, and Pedregal Beach is where she really wants the ceremony and we are thinking of renting a villa for the guests. Here is our dilemma. Pedregal charges a fee for a beach wedding and also only allows 20 (or so we are told) on the beach for the ceremony. Oh...and they don't allow chairs.

We love staying close to town..and our concern is not being close to town for those who want to go out. Did you find that the villas on the Corridor were too far from Cabo San Lucas.

We have stayed at AI and condos in Cabo. Personally I love staying in condos close to town.

Did you see a problem staying at Blue Sea Villas? Also did it work with your budget?

I appreciate any input..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
