If possible, could you take one of the presidential gazebo? I'm curious if it looks like the pictures provided by the WC. Thank you!!

I am using her this Feb! My FI went do to the Bridal Rehearsal that EDR offered and we got to meet her in person and see some of her work. It was awesome. She has been great to work with when I asked about what the best package was and what the differences really meant. Plus there has been a couple other brides here that used her and had wonderful photos. I 110% recommend her.

Alrighty ladies, I'm home again and let me say that the adjustment to reality is a tough one!!

Here are a few of the site pictures I took. The gazebos are from north to south - so top end of Casitas down to the Health Bar. They are all taken from the main path along the beach.

This is the gazebo across from the D'Italia Casitas - love this location.

This is D'italias Casita & Bellini Bar (upstairs) - love this plaza

This is the next Casitas Gazebo:

This one is nice for a small wedding

Then the white gazebo next to the salt water pool:

Area surrounding the Health Bar (they just opened this building of rooms while we were there)

I didn't walk a ton farther this day and take pics, but here's one that shows from JoJo's/Beach Bar and south to Gazebo 55. The white Gazebo is the one across from Guacamayas, in my opinion one of the least private locations.

We had our ceremony at 55, and I had to laugh when everyone in the 55 building was on their balconies watching, plus people gathered back around the beach (but they all kept their distance). It actually was really special, when I expected it to feel intrusive.

You can't quite see the Fuentes, Presidential or Gazebo 55, but they are next. And you can't beat that sunset!!

If you look up Murmel's profile, she has great pics of each location from her recent trip.

I'm happy to answer any questions about the resort, wedding planning, etc. Just let me know!

Hi Amanda,

It was absolutely incredible!! Of course there were a few things that could have been better or different, but honestly, it didn't take away from our dream wedding. I loved everything about the event and the resort. Our guests raved about both the wedding and the resort too, so I'm thrilled!!

Here's the early preview photo from our photog:

We are trying to plan our 1 year anniversary stay right now as well! We ended up getting $750 credit, but its still pretty pricey since they make you get a high level room to use the credit sad.gif

I think we were going to try out another property since EDR is so large and its just us going. We have been looking at El Dorado Seaside Suites and I cannot wait!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
