I'm searching invitation websites. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've searched Etsy, but I was wondering other good places to look at.

Thanks :)

Tons of suggestions in specific threads on the topic. Do a quick search in the specific forums and you will get some more suggestions. There is a whole forum with dozens of threads on invitations specifically. Edited by kmk2016

Hey Ladies,

Past brides: when did you make all your spa appointments for the big day? I'm thinking I will want to do a couples massage for fiance and I and each do a facial the day before the wedding plus all the "day off" stuff such as hair and makeup.

Did you contact the wedding planner to do this, or did you contact the spa directly? Thanks!

@@travelgal78 - hi Leslie! definitely plan the day of stuff now with your Lomas WC now. . I would go ahead and tell them what time you want to start the day-of appointments, they almost never leave enough time.

you can also schedule the stuff you want to do the day before with your Lomas WC and they'll add it to your wedding spreadsheet to pay for ahead of your visit. Keep in mind they usually have specials (pricing) for the spa once you get onsite, and they have had same-day openings on each of our 3 visits. You could book with your concierge, or wait until you see someone selling the spa services to visit you by the pool (it happens daily!). It may be worthwhile to wait until you get there to schedule those services to save a few $$.

Are any other November brides starting to get a little anxious? I have so much left to do (finalize decorations, go through song lists, lock down our free HH cocktail we're doing the day after, order favors, etc). And I'm starting to stalk the weather and it's been raining a lot :( Getting so close!

We are getting pretty excited. Today marks our 30 day countdown!

Most of our stuff is finalized, but we are still working on playlists for the reception and couple other  small details! Its going to be great time! Try not to stress too much! Hopefully the weather holds!! I can't believe its the end of Oct. already.

Oh wow, we'll hit the one month mark next week and I'm having some serious second thoughts about our locations. We have 22 people in attendance and have booked Gazeboo 55 for the ceremony and Tucanes Bar for the reception. The Health bar nor the Presidential gazebo were given to me as an option during the initial email from my coordinator. But I think these locations would better suit my group. Plus the floor of the health bar is so much more attractive than Tucanes (I know, that sounds silly). Has anyone had their ceremony at Presidential and reception at Health Bar? Reviews?

Our date is November 15th!! Getting so close! We are finalizing all of the OOT Gift bags, and buying suitcases to haul stuff! I am hoping it doesn't rain!! We plan to be married and have our reception on the beach. Fingers crossed!

Random question, and I can ask our wedding coordinator if no one knows already - what size are the round tables they provide you with? I plan to make runners for the tables :)

Good luck ladies, let the count downs begin!

YAY November brides!

I know of several brides who used the Health Bar - it's a great space. Presidential gazebo is nice too. Gazebo 55 is the most private of the gazebos because it's way off at the end of EDR's beach. not completely private, but none of the wedding locations are. Whichever of these you choose will work out really well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
