Hey ladies! I'm saddened to report that we're back home . Our ten days in paradise went by way too quickly! We had the most amazing time there and have no regrets on choosing EDR! We can't wait to go back for our anniversary next year! Hello ladies!!!

We have returned from our romantic getaway/check-it-out trip to EDR. I'm SOOOO glad we were able to make this trip. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the food is so much better than you can even imagine. We toured all of the wedding sites and I'm so glad because we changed everything that we had decided on.....imagine that!!

I will say that when we first arrived there was a bit of a problem and we had to wait FOREVER for our room and I was not so certain I had made the right decision as far as wedding location, but once that was resolved we had an absolutely amazing time.

I will post some pics soon and more details.

 

CONGRATS Oneill12......your pictures are great and I love how you kept it simple with only white. Just BEAUTIFUL!!! I love your starfish as well.....I'm thinking of doing something similar!

We received some information about the differences between the two DJ packages from our WC:

 

The difference between DJ All Music and Mega DJ is basically that DJ All Music includes more lights, the bubble & fog machine and the Master of Ceremony. The MC is basically responsible for ensuring the various events that take place during the wedding reception run smoothly and also to animate your event.

 

We're planning to go with DJ All Music, as my FI wants the MC. Fine..whatev!

 

Your room is included in the 15 room count - you have a double occupancy room, and you're paying for it, so it counts!

I am glad you had such a great time and were able to tour everything before hand, I can't wait to hear more about it and the changes that you have made. Good luck with all the planning!!!!! I also hope you guys had a few drinks since you had to wait for your room, our guests had to go through the same thing, but got upgraded and just enjoyed some drinks. Best of Luck!!!

Hi there! I did the passport invites, but I included pictures of each page (i think i forgot 2 pages actually) but it shows how I laid it out. Let me know if you want any add'l details.

These are great!! What a neat idea! So you already sent your invitations out? I haven't even started mine.....I was thinking of a DIY message in a bottle invitation, but just feel like I am in a time crunch and won't have time to get them done. I'm thinking of a traditional invitation that requires a LOT less work, but worried I won't be able to include all the information, etc.

 This is how I feel right now.....like I have so many decisions to make and things that need to be done and I just don't know where to begin. I think I asked this before of all of you, but how far in advance are you sending out invites and are you sending out a reminder after that or is the invite it? I'm a hot mess right now!!!
