Hi Shannon,

Yes, this will be what we are waiting for, the red velvet cake, I will keep

response.

About the Photographer, I know you will bring Cancun Studios - there will be a 500 usd fee and if she brings any assitants there is a 72 usd day pass per assistant.

Also her RFC and working documents, to be presented to the Hotel.

Thanks!

If any doubt arises, please, do not hesitate to contact me, I will be more

than happy to assist you.

Sincerely Yours,

Jwolfe---since you have 3 total people for photography/videography-- what I'm getting from Valeria's email -is that you would have to pay for "only" 2 day passes ---for the "extra" 2 people that is with your "main" photographer....- you shouldn't have to pay 3 days passes or for any private parties....

-----what a mess....

I was just going to ask you that I would only need to pay for 2 day passes, right? Why do they have so many different versions of what needs to be paid for, etc? My TA has a meeting there this or next week and is going to discuss their fees and not being clear and upfront about the charges from the beginning. I'll let you know if she is able to resolve any issues.

After looking at lots of professional wedding pics at EDR ... it looks like there are two reception locations outside under a big 'hut' next to a pool....? One looks much bigger than the other ... what are the names of these locations?

I've been trying to search these forums but it seems reception pictures are what we have the least of...

I'm not completely sure- so someone correct me if I'm wrong- but I think the bigger one is the "covered pool" area beside Fuentes and the smaller one is Tucanes??!?!

Just thought I would post something else to fuel to the outside vendor fee fire! I am not excited about this at all, and don't want my photographer to be faced with any hassles from hotel staff. SO I guess I am going to have to pay the $500 and for a 3 night stay, even though she is only staying 1 night! This gets more ridiculous everyday! Does anyone have any correspondence from Monica or any other WC that they would be willing to share to help me try and bargain with Monica?

Thanks! smile41.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
