I can't find the thread where one of the EDR brides had posted the spa and other amenities choices. All I have is Lomas' website link, but that doesn't seem to offer as many as that attachment at I'd seen. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've got to select my flowers, spa services, etc. now - I've been slacking on that!

OK, we've come up with something we're wondering about. Do you have to pay for an extra chair at the wedding and reception for a guest who's also the photographer? If they are booked as a friend who is staying at the resort, do we need to include them in the chair/reception count?

Well, if you are not paying for the 3 night stay, and are just hoping to sneak them in as a guest - they will be included on the wedding guest list that EDR will have, so I would imagine it would raise some red flags if you didn't have a chair for them. Although, if you are paying for the 3 night stay already then - it shouldn't matter.

My photographers are coming for a week, so I don't have to worry about raising any red flags! but that being said, I'm still going to pay for chairs for them - more out of courtesy and their own comfort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
